Hi, My name is Bruce Van Cleve, and I started Van Cleve Payroll because I was a customer of a big payroll service, and based on that experience, I decided small businesses deserved, and I could do, a much better job at payroll. I am an accountant who has worked in small businesses all my life. I enjoy small business people, you are my kind of people. My company is changing the way small business gets their payroll chore done, by taking the hassle away, making it super safe, and making it very simple for our customers.

Van Cleve Payroll is a local Erie, PA business. While competitors services aim to commoditize payroll, and transfer much of the work to the client via do-it-yourself online payroll, Van Cleve’s service is the opposite of this approach. We didn’t build our business model around a website-based payroll. Our goal is to do as much of the work of payroll as possible, and simplifying all interaction and communications with you to make payroll nearly effortless, for you, our customer.

The main distinction of Van Cleve Payroll over other small and large payroll services is that we do not take custody of our customer’s payroll funds. With our system, we don’t need to. We also do something no one else does with all our local customers; we deliver the payroll right to their office. People are always glad to see us!
